If he is a regular at the games (including away) and a regular poster on NSC, yet feels no affinity towards the club (including pathetic statements like "Never have supported them and never will") then I don't want him there.

Anyone who can regularly watch a football team week in with out without feeling a shred of affinity towards the club has NO IDEA what being a football supporter is all about...

I have far more respect for the Palace, Leeds, Man City (or whoever) supporters on here who come on and give us a bit of banter. At least they are football supporters. Anyone who comes on here and says "Look, I go and watch all your matches but you lot are utterly shit, have no chance of going up and I don't have any support for you at all" is a GRADE A WANKER in my opinion.

I'll let him respond to that to the majority of that, but while he doesnt support Brighton, I'm sure he prefers to see us do well over other teams and enjoys going to matches where it is cheap and he can be with his mates.

Maybe I was a little harsh, but I think it is the sneering nature of his post that I detest, and the fact that he is a Plastic Premiership Fan makes it 50 times worse.

I have enough sneering Plastic Premiership Fans to deal with at work, without one coming on OUR message board and saying "You lot are f***ing shit... I should know, I go and watch you every week. I don't support you and never will. I'm a Premiership fan." The arrogance of it is unbelievable, and it makes my blood boil.

What's more, if he goes to watch us and

a) thinks we're shit
and
b) doesn't support us

then he has more money than sense, and should donate it to charity or something rather than wasting it watching something he has no interest in.

Well, knowing him personally I can assure you his attitude towards Brighton isnt like his post might suggest.

And as his avatar suggests he isnt a "plastic" fan, he goes to watch Spurs play live quite often, though that becomes harder for him due to the price of tickets in the Premiership. Watching Brighton play away from home is cheap for lads our age, the whole day at Yeovil cost him less than what a ticket in the Premiership would cost, and, I suppose best of all, he got to spend the day with his mates having a laugh and a bit of banter.

Please explain how he is a 'plastic fan' Chesney

And I think you'll find his money is going to a charity:jester:

Why do you attend the games then? f*** off to White Hart Lane instead, and give your seat up to someone who actually supports the Albion. Plastic Premiership fan. You can enjoy the away end next season when Spurs come down to play...

Isnt that going against your word a little bit?
"plastic fan" but if i was i wouldnt be coming to the withdean to watch spurs play in the CCC , id change my team to Man Utd.

Also, give it to someone who supports the albion, im sure they can sit in one of the other 1000 empty seats.

wrong time of the month, f***ing ****

Very unlikely to reach the top half of the league, already beginning to look up Portsmouths home games dates, at least whatever the result the standard of football is worth making the effort to attend.

Talking of 'Laughing Stocks', how did your (Paxo's) beloved Tottingham get on today? Oh yeah, that's right: they lost again & are BOTTOM of the Premiershit. Not doing very well are they - considering all the filthy lucre they've had sloshing around since they f***ed Martin Jol off for being a failure?! Sounds like they could do with all the support they can muster to me - so why not just sod off onto one of your/their kiddie message boards & leave us to get on with supporting our local team? You know it makes sense.

I'm paraphrasing you, you idiot. The fact is that you made some very negative remarks about the team, then followed it with a snidey "Never supported you, never will", as if you are above supporting a lowly provincial team like us. If that is your attitude I would kindly suggest you stick to WHL from now on...

My ideas,
- Virgo is DROPPABLE, if he isnt going to play in defence, I wouldnt play him
- Hawkins is great when fit, but playing him when he is clearly injured is a joke, and cost us goals against Scunthorpe and Northampton
- Thomson looks much better when we play 3 central midfielders
- Murray is playing well, and now scoring, build the attack around him and his stregths
- Long high balls DO NOT work EVER
- We look a million times better when we have a central midfielder that drops deep and gets the ball off the defence
- Cox is more effective coming off the bench
- through balls along the deck to our forwards is our most effective way of creating chances, not crosses

I'd agree with most of that. I thought Livermore picked it up well off the back four yesterday in the first half. And building the team around Murray seems a good idea.

I really rate Livermore. Needs to be given more time.

And why on earth i went for Mid table on this poll i don't know. I think we will make a push for the play offs. Come on you Albion!
