I do not think we will be pushing for promotion this season, judging by the first 8 games. I know it's early, and I know im going to get slated for this. But our home form just hasn't been up to scratch, and todays performance suggests that our away performances are not perticularly good. So do you think I'm being a bit hasty?

i think its very hasty to judge on the starting 8 games.
we still have a chance to make a push for playoffs. 8 down, 38 to go.

We're still short in certain areas, espically striking options. But with our impressive away form, but our dismal home form. I quite confident we'll make the top six. But only if we can find two strikers and improve our home form FAST.

Too many players playing out of position. You can't justify accomodating Adam Virgo ahead of players who are better in that position (i.e. Livermore). I think the squad is good enough (although we still need a striker and a creative midfielder) but the tactics are wrong and they are still going to get a pasting at home from the fans if they keep lumping it.

4 of the teams we've played are in the bottom 7 however, and we have a fairly mixed month in Oct as we are playing the Bottom 2 Cheltenham and Hereford, but we also have Leeds, Peteborough, and Hartlepool all away and Leicester at home. Going to be an interesting month
