The drum did a good job at destroying our atmosphere yesterday.

But it became a bit of a double-edged sword for them as we were able to just hijack a number of their chants. Easily done when under the same roof. But you're right that there were some flat periods when the drum was the only thing making any noise, much to the irritation of everyone else :lolol:

But a drum for us? I used to be for but its a no from me..

I used to have the misfortune of sitting directly in front of Grant with the drum at Withdean. It was a blessed day indeed when somebody put a hole in it

Changed my mind... Please do NOT get a drum.

You wasn't a 'right side Brighton boy' yesterday by any chance ?

That bloody drum. God it was annoying.

We DEFO do not need a drum.

We create a superb atmosphere both home and away without that monotonous banging.

I was and I can tell you it got right on my tits

The funny thing is I overheard several people on entering the ground and deciding where to position themselves say - "let's go over that side nearest to the away fans" So in hindsight....:lolol:

I was a left sider yesterday :)

as for that f***ing Drum, i wanted to shove the bloody thing down his throat!!!

I fail to comprehend how anyone could pay to watch football anywhere near that drum week in week out. That and the fact it only seemed to be used for the "Red Army" chant, which was constantly droned out until our goal went in.

I'd almost rather have complete silence than that thing every week.
