At St Nicolas Junior school in Portslade, those nasty boys had to have a separate playground from the girls, so we could play a more genteel version of tag. They couldn't nick our skipping ropes.

I remember we all mad a slide when the snow had turned to ice, and a teacher fell down near the entrance steps, so we were all banned from making slides (until the next snowfall/freeze).
