We really are just a laughing stock to the elite, aren’t we. They think we exist simply to fund their ridiculously lavish lifestyles.

Sickening.

This country needs a revolution.

“Details published by Treasury show royal family’s grant is expected to increase from £86m to £125m in 2025”.

“The government spent hundreds of thousands of pounds paying off senior ministers, including the former prime ministers Liz Truss and Boris Johnson, and another £2.9m in payouts to their advisers”.

Hang the f***ing lot of them.

Yes, yes let's get a Labour Gov't instead. They won't have their snouts in the same trough...oh, wait a minute.

Plenty of reasons to switch to Labour, but that ain't one of them. Most politicians trough in the same farmyard.

Well, hard to argue to a point.

My point was, the elite, be it Labour, Tory, corporate, or the monarchy are taking us for mugs.

For the record though, all being equal, I would rather have a Labour government that the Tory government we have now.

In fact, I’d rather have a fentanyl addicted Tasmanian devil in charge right now.

But perhaps that’s more suited to the Tory/labour threads.

Our traditions & our establishment were a strength until the workings of these establishments & their traditions became known. Once the veneer of any respectability is stripped away, institutions should wobble - but that’s when the establishment fights with all their might to maintain those traditions. A circular reference that will stall any societal development.

Tom Scholar, who was sacked by Truss as the Treasury’s top civil servant on her first day in power, was given a severance payment of £335,000, plus £122,000 in annual leave adjustments and compensation in lieu of notice.😯

The whole political system is riddled with corruption and no longer fit for purpose we need to destroy everything build government buildings outside of London and a means of proportional representation with long term planning at its very core

What has King Charles got to do with the labour party?

That’s fine. He was sacked for no good reason.

MPs getting payments for RESIGNING IN DISGRACE plus GETTING PM legacy expenses (£100k+ PA) and an honours list made up of their biggest sycophants is utterly disgusting. And those who think ‘they are all the same’ are ignorant gaslight-gammon playing into the hands of the likes of Putin and the foreign owned or non-dom right wing press.

Indeed, they're not 'all the same'

The last rebellion in England was Pentrich Rebellion of 1817 which was set up by the government of the time who being fearful of thousands of demobilised troops at the end of the Napoleonic wars with little opportunities for employment might start a general uprising overthrow the government and monarchy and set up a new republic.
so the government came up with a plan which involved sending out provocateurs to stir up rebellion in a localised way in Derbyshire knowing they could crush it as soon as it stated which is exactly what happened the ringleaders were captured hung or deported and the government used this as a justification to introduce tough new laws to ensure no further uprising could occu.

In 2022 this government enacted new laws in the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022. This Act introduced new vague and undefined police and government powers to clamp down on any protests – including by one person you may have notice the lone guy outside Parliament is no longer seen holding his anti Brexit banners that’s as a direct result of this act.

The above two examples of our governments deliberately bringing in new laws to ensure the status quo remains the same

There probably does need to be some sort of revolution, but y’know Love Island is on and the Daily Mail said not to so…

Name me one Labour PM who got severance pay for 44 days at number 10, and gets a 6 figure pension for life?
