Oh well, looks like I'll be first out. Shame it didn't go according to his plan (from BBC - before the draw was made)....

Hawkins' previous visits to the World Championships have seen him beaten in the first round by Ken Doherty, Fergal O'Brien, Ali Carter and Graeme Dott, but this time around he is looking for an easier draw.

"I'm not saying it would be an easy first round game, but you want one a bit easier than Ronnie or John Higgins so that you can get into the tournament.

Why do you dislike Graham Dott?? A former World Champion who at his best is a fantastic snooker player, he's been through some tough times and beaten his demons. Fair play to him I say.

I don't deny he's a very decent player, but he comes across as a bit eery & dull, nothing distinctive about his style, and I cannot stand his accent. But yes I should probably cut him some slack due to the problems he's overcome. Hard to please I guess! (Though I'm a big fan of every player left in the tourny)

I'd like to see Selby win it but even money is no real value at the moment. I'm tempted by 'The Captain' Ali Carter but i'd be looking at 4's before having a bet on him. Anyone of the quartet can win it, i suppose it's best to wait for the in-running betting before striking. The semi's are long matches - first to 17.
