Gone for the Aussie Neil Robertson e/w @ 14/1. The Aussies are brilliant at every sport they can be arsed to enter. Plus his first round 10-4 win v Nigel Bond shows great promise

Steve Davis, currently battling back to 8-6 against Stuart Bingham after being 8-3 down, the comeback is on!

Much of this game may so far have been attritional but the tension in the arena really is something else, you can't write drama like this.

davis lost 10-8

Unlucky for Steve, some vintage Davis in that comeback shame he couldn't sustain it but was a thrilling climax.

Ding v Fu on Table 1 now in the battle of the orient... who will takeaway the spoils?

Ding 9 - 9 Fu

I said this would be tie of the round and it has turned into one of the classic all time Crucible ties. There doesn't deserve to be a loser in a game this good, the tension is unbearable and that's just watching at home.

2nd Round Draw:

John Higgins (Sco) v Ryan Day (Wal)

Ding Junhui (Chn) v Stephen Hendry (Sco)

Joe Swail (NI) v Liang

Shaun Murphy (Eng) v Ali Carter (Eng)

Mark King (Eng) v Peter Ebdon (Eng)

Some excellent 2nd round ties in there, the tournament is really hotting up now, I've put the ties of the round in bold.
