If you're 70 then I guess your circulation is poor so a snood is useful...but for us young pups there is no need.

I'd wear one if I ever felt the need. Gloves with short sleeve shirts is bloody awesome though, when I'm playing the closest I get is rolled up sleeves with gloves.
