seriously , have you ever done that ? whats the most venomous one youve ever seen/killed? i'm horrrified and fascinated by snakes.
Probably killed about 15-20.
Most were to ensure my greyhounds didn't get bitten.
Lost two Greyhounds to Snake bites and it an horrific thing to watch a dog die from a snake bite.
The most venomous i've killed is an Eastern Tiger snake, think its ranked about 4th in worlds most deadliest (depending which list you read). They are actually the only breed of snake i've killed so far.
Killed em with spades, shotguns ride on mowers, a loop of wire and a tree branch. Killed one in the car too, but you have to slam on the brakes and skid over them to break their spine as if you just drive over them they can end up inside the wheel arch and sit there.
Plenty of people have gotten home from a drive in the country only to discover a snake has crawled up inside the engine bay or wheel arches.
One chap died when he pulled down his visor to shade his eyes from the sun only for a Tiger snake to drop in his lap. Think he got struck 30-40 times.
Their worst trait is their speed. Had one turn on em and chase me and it was like lightning covering the ground.
Thousands upon thousands of them in and around the city i live in.
We get Brown snakes and Copperheads around here too but they are far less common a sighting.
So that means the Brown snake is the deadliest i've come across(rated 2nd most deadliest).
Was chopping wood at the grandparents when I went to shift some wood and out to the side of where I was working a Brown flew out from under the pile abut 2 feet away.
Scared the shit out of me because Browns dont try to flee like most snakes.
They will stand their ground and may chase you if you try to run. Which is why you're taught to stand still with them.
Fortunately standing still wasn't a problem then as I froze to the spot
To be honest I dont like snakes AT all. Just looking at them gives me the creeps, Which is why I tend to kill them when I see them.
