The Matisse Snail at the Level has gained an anarchy symbol already

You'd have bet good money on that happening. Didn't the same thing happen to the Snowdog there earlydoors two years ago? Some ferals don't deserve to share oxygen in a nice town with decent people. ****s.

Why are they all in places that already experience high tourist footfall?

Stick some of them in places like Foredown Tower, Mile Oak Farm and Woodingdean Well.

There's a code on each one of them to use in the App, to raise money, with prizes. I would think it's a good thing to have a high footfall.

The city of Providence RI years ago, home to toy manufacturers Hasbro, did this with Mr. Potato-Heads.

When they were retired, they wound up all over the state

Finally. That ball's been sitting in front of the goal for nearly two days waiting to be tapped in [emoji38]
I'm shell-shocked no-one picked it up before!

So most people can see them without putting on hiking boots and getting out a map.

When you consider there are 50 of them, and 70 junior snails, maybe running shoes are appropriate. They're only on display for a few weeks.

Anyone spot the one in Duke Street yesterday? We were trying to tick off the central ones with my little one (3 and a half and really excited by them) and it didn't seem to be there.

On display for 2 months, 15th September to 18th November.

We saw most of the full size Snow Dogs in Brighton in one day buy walking and using buses.
Did the ones in Hove on another day.

I keep thinking there was another thing before the Snow Dogs but I can't for the life of me remember what it was, anyone?

Not in Brighton (that I recall), but other cities have done similar, eg: Gorillas in Bristol.
Went to Liverpool recently (not for football) and they had Lambananas (half lamb, half banana). The one at Albert Docks had Echo & THe Bunnymen painted on it.
