Bloody Worthing!
This is to complement the recent thread on the fastest. So who was at the sluggish end of the spectrum. Of course those of who remember the likes of Bobby Moore or Jan Molby will know that a lack of pace doesn't make you a bad player.

Ironically Bobby Zamora, having featured in the fastest player category, could arguably squeeze into the slowest one in his second coming?

To be fair, may of the players thus far mentioned, Bobby Z, (second time around), Joe Corrigan, Russell Osman, Guy Butters, Darren Currie et al, were all at the arse end of their careers when they played for us. Their legs had gone by then!

Has to be Dale Stephens slowly walking off the pitch after his ridiculous sending off by Mike Dean at Boro last season :)

Frank Worthington?

We have a winner. That's where I was going as well. The man could barely move when he played for us, but what a passer he still was, and he could hit a ball so sweetly. Remember him breaking the Wolves keeper's wrist in having a penalty saved in a 5-1 victory at the Goldstone the day we relegated them when Tommy Docherty was in charge, so hard had he hit it.
