Thoroughly enjoyable series. Weaving always plays a good part. I'd agree it needed more Lamb, it's just another show without him. That's nitpicking though, I'll look forward to Series 5 more than anything else on the Roger Mellie.

I was left quite unimpressed by this latest series. Seems I'm swimming against the tide, but it just seemed to lack a real pay off in the final episode. But I think the main criticism is that it lacked Jackson Lamb! Very little screen time compared with previous series.

Thank god it's not just me. This last series has left me cold. I'm simply not interested in it. It's too disjointed, lacking the coherence of the previous 3. So much so that despite being in these last 2 nights my wife and I have swerved it. Last night the TV wasn't even switched on.

Just smashed through series four on my night off.

One of the best so far, I think.

Bizarrely the only let down for me was Hugo Weaving. But his character served a purpose so it’s only a minor gripe.

Great stuff. Some of the best telly of recent years.

Could I humbly suggest that Jackson Lamb fans try the audible versions of the books. You won't hear Gary Oldman but I found the dry narrator perfect as I hadn't seen the screen version.

Slow Horses - Apple TV+’s adaptation of Mick Herron’s award-winning Slough House novels starring Gary Oldman as the irascible Jackson Lamb - has been recommissioned for a sixth series.

This is on top of a fifth series that has already been made and will be shown next year.

Apple says that Gary Oldman will return for the six-episode series, as will the likes of Kristen Scott-Thomas and Jack Lowden. It also adds that series six will see the Slow Horses on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.

For fans of one of the success stories of crime drama from the last three or four years, this is undoubtedly great news.
