This applies to the older generation. To be more specific those who enjoyed a night out in the late 70s and early 80s.

I was discussing with a pal those ‘smoochie’ tracks played at Clubs, Discos, Parties etc which were essential opportunities to get on down with a fair lass. We got down to choosing our favourite five.

Mine were as follows (in no particular order):

• You make me feel brand new – the Stylistics
• Have you seen her – the Chilites
• How Deep is your love – The Bee Gees
• Stuck on you – Lionel Ritchie
• Love you a little bit more – Dr Hook

Do these bring back hot and steamy moments? What were your highlight tracks?

Arse clenchers we used to call them, just after the first verse and chorus you'd slowly let your hands drop down to her arse and give the buttocks a squeeze, a slapped face or her moving your hands up to her back again meant the dance was about all you'd get whilst no reaction meant you were in.
