After seeing the screengrab there on the video I've decided not to watch it; I'm already excited enough about it so don't need geeing up any further. Can't wait though.

I always thought Luke was a dark force kind of guy. He has the look of someone doing "dirty deeds done dirt cheap" under the table. You wonder what kind of porn R2D2 has on his hard drive.

I think it's just a "I'll fulfil the destiny of the Sith" thing, rather than it being Luke.

Or maybe Kylo Ren is a Skywalker, and he's talking to his grandfather?

Very different tone and lots of new content. That shot of Tie fighters flying on front of a setting sun was amazing

Also, Ren is waiting for her family? That's seemingly how it's been cut, anyway?

The complete lack of Luke on the posters and in the trailers has me suspecting this. And I LIKE the idea.

Kylo Ren isn't Luke, as the actor playing the character (Adam Driver) looks very different to Mark Hamill and photos released show him without his mask on at times.

However, that doesn't stop Luke from having gone over the dark side.

After all, there is a way of interpreting the end fight scene of RotJ to suggest he did indeed give in to his anger and complete his journey to the dark side.

There's always two Sith innit.

There's always two Sith innit.

Supreme Commander Snokes is the other one (at least it would seem so) and that character isn't human.

You say that - but they way this is set up, the force has been pretty much dormant and is 'awakening' there may be no formal structure left to how the force is 'organised' anymore. There may be force sensitive people out there with nobody to guide them, on both 'sides'.

Same here - Enough of the trailers.. i might feel cheapened when actually seeing the film (7.45am showing at IMAX; pop corn and hot dog for brekkie)

Very true. The two Sith thing was always self imposed anyway, and a bit bonkers given the number of "secret" apprentices knocking about all over the place in the Expanded Universe (even if it's not canon any more) and in bits of the prequel films and Clone Wars cartoon.

I believe JJ Abrams has said that Kylo Ren isn't a sith. That he doesn't have any force powers (though he appears to be making force-using gestures in the trailer), but is part of the Knights of Ren (Ren is a title not a name).

Of course, he could be lying, or being clever with his words.
