Know for a fact I wasn't the only BHA at the Concorde2 last night.

Thought they were up to their usual high standard and quite liked the new stuff they did. Also nice to go to a gig where there wasn't hundreds of spotty kids blocking the view of the stage recording inaudible videos on their mobile phones.

Only caught the end of Chelsea, and his voice was dying. Were they any good?

Good to see the Concorde busy as well, last few times I've been there it's been quite quiet and it would be a shame to see a cracking little venue like that go down the pan.

blimey i saw chelsea at the roundhouse in 1978. surprised gene october is still alive let alone gigging!

Thought it was a good evening all round.

Gene October reminds me a bit of Mick Jagger (looks and stage mannerisms).
His other jobs have included being a Brighton binman and pornstar - obviously sometime ago!

Nonsense. If you stop enjoying them, just don't go and see them. Sorted.

To me Punk was about being young and angry in the late 70's. I was a big fan of Chelsea. Not a punk band I know but a few years back I went to see Spear of Destiny in a local pub. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry watching 40 somethings moshing. Some still wearing shirt and ties after coming straight from work.

So, that's what it was to you. So stop going.
