In answer to your "Slade has lost the dressing room" observation. The portakabin is still in the same place, I checked this morning. I think he'd struggle to lose it, it is rather large. If you mean the players aren't playing for Russ, then you obviously were not at the game yesterday. Making mistakes, yes, but lacking desire to win, no.

Errrrr no.

Anyway, From what I hear Slade has lost the dressing room and we all know what happens when a manager loses the respect of the players. Like it or not.. the players have more control of a chairman than managers do these days and mark my words its only a matter of time before bloom wields his axe!!

:Wanker:

Fair enough. But the day Bloom hires Wise he loses the respect of a large chunk of the fanbase. Not to mention the revenue stream of aforesaid fans. Maybe he don't care. But he should.

THPP you know as well as I do that football fans are a fickle bunch and that any fans that protests by staying away, will come flooding back at the first sign of success.

I don't think most fans would stay away from games if Wise is appointed. Personally, I would support the team and still go to games but it would seriously piss me off if Slade was sacked as he did a fantastic job last season and has just bought in lots of players who do need time to gel. The short sightedness of some people never fails to amaze me and I honestly can't believe people are serious about sacking him.

Fair point.

However.

The fact that anybody at all uses The Sportsman of a matchday serves as a constant reminder that not all people live by the same set of standards. Speaking as somebody who never paid a single penny of that evil bitch Thatcher's Poll Tax, nor voted for Labour while B.Liar was in office following the illegal and immoral invasion of Iraq, it'd be a personal piece of piss not to attend a single game while that little shit Wise was in any way associated with the Albion. Wouldn't miss it at all. Well, I WOULD, but you know what I mean.

I would have the up most respect for you to follow your threats through, people like you are few and far between and you are obviously very determined, but it will be on a personal level and I can't help feeling you would be cutting your nose off to spite your face, unfortunately a one man protest doesn't carry a lot of influence.
For every one of you there would be 100 glory hunters flocking through the gates should we ever make it to the Premier League.
FWIW I respect your views and admire your stance after all it's only a rumour :lolol:

Carn't blame slade for player cock ups, why did hawkins pull back the player when the keeper had a great chance of stopping him, and elphick why did he lunge in from the back every player knows what happens when you do that

No, he didn't last a season ..... but he wasn't sacked before the end of August either.

Yup, just looked that up myself. Only four league wins in what was hopefully going to be his first full season, and of course there were some SHOCKING defeats in there. Still at least he was given until nearly MARCH to sort it out, and not sacked before the end of AUGUST.

I know we were all newbies at some point but Ive seen so many :fishing: threads of late from peeps with under 10 posts. Is it the same guy, a CP supporter or someone previously banned or what? My advice is dont reply to them, if they dont have the savvy to post on a thread of the same subject then IGNORE.

:guns: Newbies!
