Can't see it happening, can you?

Slade. Nothing against Gannon - if anything, I respected him more when he opted to stay with Stockport out of loyalty. But approaches to Gannon were then, this is now, and Slade's the man.

I'm not saying this is a genuine question. More proving a point to the people on the other "give slade a contract etc" threads claiming we should make a move for Gannon.

I would like Gannon, like I said on another thread, got to respect his loyalty to Stockport, when you look over our recent past, Adams, Taylor and Coppell all jumped ship during the season.

However, it would be harsh on Slade if he was not offered the job

It would be an injustice of biblical proportions were Slade not offered a contract for next season.

I don't care if Arsene Wenger declared an interest, Russell Slade could not have done MORE to endear himself to fans of this club through sheer hard work, determination and tactical nouse.

I could not have asked for more and nor could anyone, realistically.

No questions whatsoever. He stays or there will be an almighty riot

As I have said on another thread if DK has one of his mad moments and doesn't appoint Slade, after their performance today I would be happy to approach Gannon again and him bring a couple of players with him.
