I've flicked through the video and it seems pretty fair - they bought the Swindon hype beforehand (does nobody realise that we finished above them in the league?!), but as the game went on I got the feeling there was a lot of respect for our performance from Brian Little in particular. Let's face it - we weren't exactly exciting, but they did acknowledge it was a job well done.

Bugger.

Got home to find that the video had managed to record the sound, but the only picture was a frozen moment from the 16th minute of extra time in the Aldershot - Shrewsbury game - two and half hours of this.

:(

And then I switch on NSC to find that I've just missed the 11.00 repeat - rush downstairs to catch the final two seconds of this, featuring ME leaving the ground.

:shootself

:( :( :(

They should repeat it again tomorrow if you look in your Sky timetable. If not you can borrow our video.

I take it that the over-run of the Conference Play-Off Final meant that the world was spared the pre-match interview I did outside the ground, predicting a goalless draw.

With hindsight, I still think a goalless draw was more likely than the magnificent result we actually witnessed.

:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:

It wasn’t really the best game for TV – but still, they didn’t need to pull the plug!

Due to the conference penalty shoot out, our 30 minutes of build up was reduced to about 5 minutes which was taken up with the teams. I didn’t find the coverage that offensive, and despite the stick he usually gets at Withdean, I didn’t think Little said much against us.

For those of you more interested in the amount of "air time" you got on Sky Sports, we won, 3-1.

I was disappointed by the coverage it was biased towards to Swindon hopefully cos they were the home team. If I heard them mention one more time Smith must score  It was not til the end you could hear us but the banners for Falmer looked great.
