Question was any more required after Propper and he said 2 more.

Hmmm I thought it was 3? So maybe a Striker and Right Back only? Or no RB and a third goalkeeper? Or going to use Sanchez as 3rd keeper?

Maybe we'll go in for Calum Chambers for the RB position? #pissthepalaceoff

So Propper + 3rd GK + Striker.

Looks like Mateju has impressed enough to be our right back signing and 1 of Ince, Towell or LuaLua makes the 25 ???

He actually said +2 for the first team.

Wound it back so here is his direct quote:

"As well as Davy Propper who is going to be joining today, we are looking for at least 2 more players for our first team squad this season."

Palace fans must be hating this, Sky Sports News have been going live to the training ground or replaying previous clips all day since around 10.10AM. Loving it.

Jim White will LOVE the unveiling of a new (record) signing while he is actually there......................clever move by all concerned if it was deliberate (and it actually happens)

Sod all the increased publicity that might bring. I wan't it to happen TODAY!

So going to carry 3 right backs in a 25 man squad.... seems bit much to me

If we want a younger right back one of the them needs to go

Likelihood is that we'll look to bring someone in as a versatile defensive cover (RB/CB) and under 21 so he won't count towards the 25-man squad.

Personally, I think protecting the squad from getting caught short in an area we could deem to be more likely to pick up niggles and injuries is quite smart.

I'm still confused by the need for a right back signing

We have Bruno and Rosenior.... why do we need a 3rd ?

Well as you have asked the question . . .

Because I'm worried, that at nearly 37, Bruno may not last the season, and as for Liam, as much as l like him, I see him as more of a utility player, than a specialist right back.

Rosenior is a utility player , very useful if needed .

Bruno got badly exposed in a handful of games last season. At 37 he can be really leggy at times. I like Rosenior and think he would would do a very good job at RB but if either suffers a long term injury then we're struggling.
