Sky/Setanta viewing problems - Burgess Hill area

Did anyone else in Burgess Hill have any problems watching the England game tonight? It was the last thing I needed after today.

What made it worse was that sometimes I could view other Sky channels but not Setanta! In fairness I was not able to pick a signal for any Sky channels for brief periods during the game.

The only good thing to come out of it was that it also cocked up my Mrs recording on Sky plus of the X factor.

Exactly the same in the Uckfied area, but it only seemed to happen when it rained heavy.

Not sure if it affected cable viewers as well.

When it rains very heavily it always knocks out our Sky dish - not a lot you can do about it, natures way.

If you think that it's a dish pointing the sky - the fact that you are in Burgess Hill or Coventry isn't really going to make a difference to your reception... unless it's raining in both areas.

What buggers up Sky reception (including mine) is heavy rain.

Setanta is a particularly WEAK signal though.
Several times when we lost the England game during torrential rain, the Sky channels were all up and running.

f***ing useless paddys.

Same in Newhaven, signal went for the half-time interval.
