What conclusions should I draw from the Marxist Jeremy Corbyn’s extolling the virtues of Venezuela (“They do things differently there: it’s called socialism.”) and his eulogising (on the Andrew Marr Show recently) the Chinese Great Leap Forward, a programme that caused the deaths of tens of millions of people?

Before I cast my vote, and decide whether Jeremy Corbyn (a man who also picketed the Old Bailey, in 1985, in protest against the trial of the IRA Brighton bombers) is fit to lead my country, I need guidance.

Perhaps you would care to answer my question above?

Vote for you would have voted for anyway mate. Not sure advice from a football forum really matters does it?

....and lets be honest, there is no question to answer, as you have no intention of voting for him anyway.

You do not have to be right-wing to be sceptical about Corbyn. Lots of people in his own party loathe him.

Not that this has anything to do with the twaddle being written about Corbyn, nor those who so wish it to be true scraping the bottom of the barrel of this pretty pink fairytale but - in what way was she 'wasting taxpayers' money'...?

Protesting legally in her own time (cost the tax payers nothing).

OR

Being arrested on two trumped-up charges (the result of which cost the tax payers tens of thousands)...?

The bloke hates Great Britain it’s no surprise he has been linked to such allegations! The sooner David Miliband returns to these shores the better.

He will rescue the Labour Party from the extreme left and make the party a credible opposition again and indeed an alternative to the current shower of shit IC of our great nation!

Forgive me for having to clarify, this is irony isn't it?

If it's not irony, how can a non-governing political party be ahead in the polls, yet not a credible opposition? It's impossible.

That's obviously why he won the leadership contest with the biggest vote ever cast for a party leader .... of any party.

Did they vote for him in spite of his avowed Marxism or because of it?

What I have written about Corbyn is not twaddle. It is the truth.

The irony for some of us is that we were at the scene of the Brighton bombing, whilst many who are now voting will know nothing of it or its consequences. Corbyn has slipped in between peoples consciousness or even knowledge, was he protesting because he thought it was a wrongful conviction or just because they were members of the IRA. I find it completely ironic that many who would vote for him are protected, non exposed to risk young people who are sleep walking into to something they have never known and will be the first to start to object to, Corbyn and those behind him are a real concern. Just a matter of time until the security service leaks a picture of him with his Eastern Block mates, maybe he'll make a contribution to charity then.

Nearly.

However, I was referring to the story in the thread title and the original post. It's twaddle, and now many on here who so wish it to be true and who have now realised it was twaddle and couldn't back up the accusation, have changed tack to something irrelevant to the OP.

I was simply sharing with my NSC comrades what was being reported! Is that allowed?
