"Get JACK BACK.

VIRGIN MEDIA HAVE DROPPED 24.

Get him back, join us at Sky.

:lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

TV WARS! I suppose Virgin did drop Sky, but only because Sky were being unreasonable!

Bollocks,

Virgin Media are winning the PR war against nasty Murdoch and his Sky crownies! It's about time someone told Sky where to go.

viewership figures for Sky One have fallen 25% since last week - its no longer one of the top ten channels in the UK; and yet the virgin->sky converts are 'surprisingly low' apparently...

totally agree...but on demand is nothing to do with sky as it takes terrestial channels and makes them available a bit like sky+ NTL updated it on a daily basis

Not to mention the amount of money Sky must be piling into the marketing campaign to try and convert Virgin users over. I have SKy and only watch Sky One for Lost, the rest of it is crap.

If I could get Cable where I live Id move to Virgin straight away.

Are you sure? Everyone at our place does pretty well. Depends which company I guess, and it is probably balanced by the fact he has a few thousand thicko air stewardesses who work for pittance for the glam of Virgin rather than B.A.

Time for the government body who deals with broadcasting rules to step into this In my opinion.

There should be clear guidelines for companies to deal with these kind of disputes long before the analogue switch off happens.

I think it's a bit early to tell yet. I imagine most Virgin customers are going to wait a while to see how Virgin respond (whether it's caving in to Sky, setting up a decent alternative or doing nothing) before deciding upon whether to leave/switch.

What like OFFCOM?

Theyre too busy keeping an eye on the beeb/ITV/C4 to worry about handbags between Virgin/Sky.
