Aren't you better off waiting until the snow has cleared, as it's probably the centre of the problem?

Anybody know a sky engineer?, i have lost signal completely, have tried moving dish to no avail, and bloody sky cant get an engineer here til 27th

Back to the days of listening to the wireless me thinks

Its the snow, now you've moved the dish you're buggered as you'll need a sat finder to re-align. Have you got an aerial?

Sky does'nt work in the snow, I cancelled my subscription last year best thig I ever did!

I had problems with some channels earlier this morning. My dish & receiver were covered in ice and snow, which I carefully removed and now have no problems!

There was no snow at all on the dish , my daughter heard a crash yesterday, and we think a whole load of snow or ice had fallen onto the dish and moved it out of wack, i just cant believe they cant get someone here for 18 fuckin days

Our Sky is fine so it must be either snow or the snow off the roof knocking it out of line.

Tend to only lose Sky signal during torrential rain.

Instead of getting sky to come round ring someone like "Briant Communications" (doesn't have to be them), a local company that install sky. They would definitely be quicker, not sure on the price though.

I'd imagine in these conditions it would be a non starter (price wise). Still always worth a call.

I have sky protect so wont have to pay, just a nightmare we gotta wait 18 days for them to come out to us, unfortunately we cant get a very strong signal with freeview either, as only have an indoor aerial.
