RE-AL used to be great for stuff like that. Not sure they even exist anymore. I bought a springloaded basketball ring from there when I was 16. Lasted really well, even if the *boing* did drive my neighbours (and parents) up the wall.

Yep Re-al is still going strong.

And don't bother going cheapo, get some Independents or similar rather than snap untold amounts of baseplates...
