Anyone that replied before 18:10 is quite literally intolerant of anything. This is a democracy yes? I find him a loonpot but is he any worse than a president that believes nuking a hurricane is the way to go? We had them then, we have them now.

17:40 " This seems to me the thing that has bedevilled you all your life (Mosley), that you put forward idea's obviously in the 30s, major economic ideas that might have and perhaps should have been taken up! But always you're bedevilled by this desire to find a scapegoat which will rally people around you, in the 30's the Jews, in the 50's, 60's and 70's the Blacks, who next?"

This is basically the tactics of UKIP & Johnson with Trump and his Republican's over the pond; in the fullness of time history will not look well on these groups and individuals!

Basically, all right of centre political parties need scapegoats, in my memory, Unions, single mothers, New Age travellers, immigrants, the EU, the enemy within, the working class , the disabled, benefits claimants, generally ‘Foreigners’It doesn’t matter to them, as long as the right wing press stir up enough outrage and populist feelings against whomever their latest victim happens to be.

Depends how far ‘ left’ you are talking about. With the left it’s usually people who are powerful, already.

Well, you are talking far right so I am talking far left. Two of the biggest countries in the world, China and Russia are two of the most repressive countries in the world. People are powerful? BS I call.

I usually think sentences like the following are a bit daft and OTT, but;

this place does seem to be genuinely going down the pan, fairly quickly now.

Probably won't bother much longer given the bizarre and dangerous views that are seemingly given free reign.

Mods - do your ****ing job, this board shouldn't be a home for fascists and Nazi sympathisers.

El Presidente
Guinness Boy
whoever else is a mod

Personally I feel the left are taking over. Emboldened by the apparent success of Momentum and some daft multi millionaire with the initials JC, they seem to be utterly intolerant of the views of others, and just shout opponents down whilst never actually discussing any issues.

I’m not talking far right, to quote, right of centre political parties, unquote.

This includes the Conservative and Unionist Party, that has scapegoated every section of society that I mentioned in my post, in my lifetime.
Your post are also a large slice of ‘whataboutism’

Right of middle, left of middle, there is very little difference in this day and time. Far right and far left are generally the same to, they have no democracy, they brainwash and suppress the masses. I see very little difference in politicians any more. It died with Michael Foot.

Edit: And I f'kin despair of so called democracy in this country now since 2016. How 650 people can tell 60 million how we can run this country is beyond me.

If you put the present Conservative party as right of middle, and the present Labour Party as left of middle, I would say there is a huge difference in policies, also, your earlier examples of Russia and China as being of the far left are a little outdated. Russia is further to the right now, than either us or America. China is now a right leaning dictatorship, whatever Communist diatribe they hide it behind.

You don't get it. I said the far right is no different from the left... they suppress and brainwash their people. They are also culpable for mass killing of their opposition. So far right or far left, their politics are the same. Our middle ground may not work for you, or me, but it is safer.

Read an article on the BBC on him yesterday. It lead me on to an article from 2013 about the infamous Nicky Crane, the B.M poster boy from the 70's-80's. Now THAT is an interesting article well worth a read.

Mosley's big mistake was assuming fascism would arrive in the UK through street marching and natty uniforms. He was wrong, such antics haven't a hope in hell of working with the British, who mostly just snigger at such nonsense.

When fascism does arrive in the UK, it'll be with a cut-glass Etonian accent, probably speaking latin.

Fascism in the form we remember will never come to this country, neither will communism.

Won't it? Those who refuse to learn the lessons of history are doomed to repeat it, and right now there's an awful lot in Britain who it seems have decided to forget all about the lessons of history.

Even Trump to us is a joke. He is without a doubt far right without being a fascist, or having a brain. Yes, we have got to the Boris Johnson moment, but do you really believe we'll be ruled by a Hitler or Mussolini? No it will never happen, we are not that stupid.

I completely understand your point, and historically you are completely right. Communism and Fascism are two sides of the same coin, with little real difference between them, However, socialism and conservatism, are different, and , in this country , at the present time, we do appear to have the furthest right leaning Government, than we have had for a long , long time, and a Labour Party that is truer to it’s socialist ideals, than we have had, certainly, in my lifetime.

I really don’t believe there is a Fascist, or Communist Government in the World at the moment, which is obviously a good thing. North Korea is just a mess, a brutal dictatorship with as little connection to real Communism as is possible to get. Some may call it Communist, but in reality, I believe these people either don’t understand Communism, or have an ulterior motive.

I like your post without a doubt, but, China and Russia still kill their opposition.
