The thing I liked about it was that he seemed to know straight away, our illustrious host, that he'd committed a faux pas. But there was nothing he could do about it. Brilliant to watch, very cringeworthy. An old chap next to me groaned when the question was asked, the most interesting part of the experience today was talking to that old man about that moment. Amazing really, but it really was quite interesting. He reckoned that Clough had promised to take Norman off to Leeds with him, but never got in contact with him again. Anyone else know anything about that?
