He just makes himself sound a bit silly doesn't he. Calling that 5 mins added time "an insult to the game", when neither trainer had been on, and they played closer to 6 mins anyway.

He's very old though. You have to make allowances for that.

You all seem to miss the point by his after match ranting he takes all of the pressure off of his players especially if they havent played well so that nobody is having a go at Rooney for the number of chances he missed etc.

Well he did mention how he "wasn't expecting that, it was a poor performance by our players" - so I imagine his players aren't immune, actually.

I have to say I saw this coming though, he has lost something of the plot recently regarding team, tactics, and his demeanor. He may be thinking that anything he touches will automatically turn into a win for United, but it hasn't been working out that way. He got 90million for Ronaldo, but his side is looking in some parts dated, and in others not experienced or talented enough. The Champs league loss was comprehensive, and now we spot a few stunned ManU fans gazing in total disbelief that their mighty Red Devils lost...and at home..... and now their replica shirt is headed for the charity shop..... how could this happen to us..... we are United......this surely isn't happening.....

He's also holding a running vendetta with refs and 4th officials, every match, and has got himself in trouble with the league authority.
