I have a feeling the club/the argus holding back the news from the press conference this week is a sign he's staying. And we're signing Zamora. And Raul.

Under what logic do you arrive at that?

Adios I'm afraid, good luck to your future and thanks for the memories.

The man is an utter GOD. Whatever his decision, and I hope to christ he stays, I will look back at his first season as the greatest player I ever saw don the blue and white stripes.

I think he'll stay - we've got him fit and mentally focussed and I think (OK hope) that he appreciates that. Just remember his opening goal against Pompey and his obvious delight at that
If he goes I shall remember that and that sublime goial against Ipswich at Portman Road

Why would he stay? plenty of other offers - his problem has always been psychological - will go back to spain (probably as bench warmer)

Because of the ridiculous amount of hinting about it on here. Possibly a ploy to make us all rush out and buy the argus, which I won't be doing. Oh, and Bobby/Raul cause, y'know, it's Friday. Why not.

This is a Spaniard who turned down Real Madrid. Can you imagine an English player turning down Manchester United? I have no idea if he'll stay but I really doubt that he'll just go for the dollar. I'd say more chance of staying than going, I reckon it will depend on how much Gus has been given to spend. If it's a large amount I imagine he'll stay and try and take us to the Premier League. ( I have my wishful thinking cap on and am clutching a straw)

I think he will stay and the announcement could suggest not just for next season

have noticed in recent weeks some frustrated looks at ineptness of other teammates!

This ... that leans me towards leaving. But much will depend on Gus's ability to convince him we will be seriously challenging next year and that will largely depend on budget available. If he goes I'd be horrified if he went to Reading, as good as they are they will struggle as most do. If going I think he'd head back to Spain will be offers for him at or near home and with bebé on way he's a lot to consider.

But desperately hoping he stays and not given up on it by any means

If he stays in England it'll be with us. There is absolutely no chance of him going to a nothing club like Reading. I think he'll go back to Spain though :(

Nw Reading owner has a shorlist of targets, i have a feeling Vicente is on that list, but whether the extra cash and prem will entice him, who knows, he could still do Reading or Stains and live in Brighton.

Maybe I am naive, but I really don't see any other club in England as a 'threat' in terms of Vicente. I really do think it will be Brighton or Spain, not that I'm confident he will chose Brighton out of those two options.

It's either us or he'll head back home.
