The Queen is still Queen.
We still have a woman Prime Minister in thrall to an American President.
The Labour Party is still an electoral joke.
The Beatles are still the greatest band ever.
Something really interesting has still yet to happen in Bexhill.

I suspect the fame of Bexhill ended with the dreaded batter pudding hurler!!!

Our football ground was stolen and demolished by some crooks.
Some heroes rebuilt everything from scratch

How ironic that our shirt sponsor in 83/84 was Phoenix Brewery?
And where are they now?

Not "since we were relegated" from the top league, I know, but to put the length of time in to another context, it's more time than it took beteeen the start of WWI and the end of WW2, and for Henry VIII to marry six different women, having been married to the first for 24 years...

Gary Glitter was huge in the Universities and George Michael still liked girls.

Could anyone have predicted how it would have turned out for those two?

The Leader in the nick for the rest of his life and George dead and buried before the age of 54.
