Thumbs Down = aggression
Thumbs Down would be simply to save me typing 'I disagree with your post' - which is precisely what you're suggesting (a difference of view)
You are a bit needy aren’t you.
You basically called her a ‘brat’ but when someone called you a ‘tosser’ you suddenly get all offended. A classic case of being happy to dish it out but not being able to take. Pathetic.

Give it a rest Mouldy.
If you knew anything about the Olympics, there was a reserve in Tokyo, who took Biles place in the team competition, so nobody’s dream was thrown away. I watched it.
I know you like to play forum games by being an ‘alternative’ voice, even telling me not to take you seriously, but this post it just ignorance.
Please note, I am not name calling, but pointing out your post is inaccurate.
Thank you for your immaculate detail ms Starmer:wink: I did know that I was of course referring to another reserve who was unable to take the trip and gather invaluable experience.
No. Boot the racist old fools off NSC. They bring nothing to the table. I have both these pathetic wankers on ignore but I can see from the replies they are still interfering with my day and my enjoyment of NSC with their racism.
Ahhh but are they affecting your mental health?
Then you would really have a strong case
Oh FFS can you read #53 again ? I didn't MEAN bring back thumbs down.

Interesting responses on this thread. I'm going to play devil's advocate (not to be an arse but out of genuine curiosity for the answer) and ask what would people's responses be to, let's say Lewis Dunk, pulling out of the FA Cup Final 20 minutes in after a poor start for the Albion, to protect his mental health? Or if Harry Kane had done so in the Euro 2020 final for England? Would we be as quick to praise them (especially in the case of defeat) for putting their mental health above all else? Pundits regularly talk about teams having to rely on their big players to step up and be counted in the high pressure moments. Where would pulling out midway through a sporting event fit within that mantra?
I get that, but the sheep mentality means that everyone who has a lot of political hate, will just abuse it and not debate the situation. It could end up stale because of that, If people really don't want to hear opposing viewpoints and reasons behind them, this would be one hell of a boring place.
The real issue is too many on here see colour and assuming it's all related, quite frankly they are the worse type of people, as they are exactly the ones who stir up and separate people.
I could name them on here...........but I won't.
Totally different, she doesn't read NSC, does she I am not the type to aim hurtful things directly at her via Twitter etc. You really have me wrong I am afraid.
I really have not affected her life at all and when I do, call me a hypocrite.

Don't worry, I have said my piece whether you agree or not please note I DO NOT take in a person colour before criticising someone we are all equal.
I have said my piece and will be on my way.

As one of my favourite posters I don't know what posessed me, missing you moo

He affects mine.
Thanks for the uncalled for name-calling. Just a differing point of view.
Should we all agree then
Maybe, but would she really want to say because of her lack of preparation she's not on her A-game. I'm not sure the person left behind in the states would like to hear that one. As she effectively throws away someone elses dream.
I hadn't even known Morgan was copying my stance on this one, what a cheeky b**ger.
Why is that Dazza, to show aggression towards posters with differing opinions, it would be very negative and could even cause mental health issues, as we are on the subject.
Nastiness is generally spread by a dozen or so name-callers, with multiply accounts. Would you condone that then
WTF has colour got to do with it? You never ever pick out anyone who is white that I might dislike, like Corbyn, Starmer, Joey Barton and so on. Why on earth do you see colour first every time?
Well it's those types who are used to winning and went something goes wrong they fake it. In this instance we don't know no one does know.
I have even seen the kids at sports day fake a fall when coming out of the traps late and they know they can't win..........................it's an all or nothing mentality and probably why they are such high achievers. That doesn't mean I have to respect someone for faking it, or potentially faking it.

Let them shout as far as I'm concerned. Not only is free speech good, it also shows how far society has moved on from them. I wonder though, were they so bothered when the boss of Lloyds Bank went off for sick because of mental health, or when Norway's prime minister did? Or is a young, black, female athlete held to a different standard?
I think you have conflated mental health with mood here. It is so easy to say 'how can they have depression when they have all that money and totty?' or 'he's lost his bottle' and going back ten years 'he should man up'.
I think you realise yourself we (I mean the standard setters, not the das reichs) have moved on from all that, hence the wistful tone of your question.
