Heard from a reliable source that he will sign for us on a two-year contract, for around £160K.

Described on Wikipedia as a powerfull defender who can fill in any midfield or defensve role, but he is a defender.

He's a right back. With the signing of Whing I would say it's doubtful we would buy him too. If we do though it is obviously a sign that Russel wants strength in depth.

Yes but Tunnicliffe can play RB as well, i would rather any £160,000 spent on midfield or back up striker.

Although thinking back, Dicker did seem more attacking at some points maybe were looking at this wrong and Dicker will be the one bursting forward?

Trouble is, Virgo,El-abd & now Tunnicliffe can cover any positions that Francis could play in.
Its a big fee for a position we don't really need cover in atm.

I think we can write el abd off this season. With a defence of Tunnicliffe, Virgo, Whing, McNulty, Elphick, it sounds great..
