Has put himself in the shop window by saying he might have to leave West Brom in January to resurrect his career.

I know that he had a lot of fans on here a couple of years ago...... do we think he could still be the answer alongside CMS?

If it means we don't bother with Billy Bullshitter Sharp then I'm IN.

He's the one I've been hoping we'd sign above all other rumours over the last 12 months. Think him and CMS would be immense!

Would have him rather than Sharp any day

I'm sure he scored 2 at Withers a few yrs back for Swindon - 1 a v good header if i recall (when Swindon were better than us)

Massive signing if we could get him, might take a month to get him match fit and firing properly but with Hoskins in and out Cox and CMS would be the potent partnership I was convinced CMS/Hoskins would and will be, so YES YES YES.

Then a LB and a RB please just to compete with Calde.

Yes. Not least because he is 5'11". We would then be able to sing, We've got massive Cox, instead of Tiny.

I would wank myself silly if we signed him.

But I dont think we will have a chance.

i would still prefer we sign someone to replace Bennett.

But is he really a target man? I think he plays like CMS?

But nor was Aaron Maclean at P'boro and that worked out well. I don't think CMS needs a target man alongside him, he just needs different service to what we've been giving him. Little balls in behind the defender is what he feeds off.

Simon Cox ... that would be SU-BLOODY-PERB!!

That's what I thought.

You can't blame Simon Cox for wanting a move. He is not getting a chance at West Bromwich.

I would think that his play is too similar to CMS for them to gel but he would be a good signing either with or as an alternative to CMS. Definite improvement on Paynter or Barnes either to start or on the bench.

Over the past 18 months I can't think of a single even vaguely realistic striker I'd rather have over Cox other than CMS...... and look how that turned out :D
