Whilst that may be true, people improve! With the minutes he got last season, I would expect him to come on massively this season. He's 5 years younger than Mitoma, who 5 years ago was playing for Kawasaki Frontale.

Oh I totally agree, I like Adingra, he has got more potential and I'd rather not sell him. However, if the money was good and it enabled us to really further strengthen in another area or two we aren't as strong (CM/RB), I would do it.

Presumably you are of the opinion that this can never change and he is the complete finished article as a player / human at 22? Best we ship him out then.

Agree with what seems to be popular opinion: good player, but wouldn't be too unhappy if he was sold. Plenty of options in his roles.

At 22, he is arguably where he should be in his development, but I'm struggling to get past what I found when he was first rumoured to the club:

If it is the same bloke: 7-year-old video, Youtube description claiming he is 15. That would make him 22 now, not 20.

I would take a second look at this player.

Despite theories like "maybe his agent didn't know his age?", I think this is too close to the VERY common African strategy of pretending players are younger than they are to make them seem more talented.

Maybe its a bit picky, maybe a bit paranoid, but if its indeed correct, it makes a world of difference imho. A 22-year-old Adingra has the chance to become a top level PL winger, a 24-25-year-old Adingra doesn't.

we played an under 18's game against Sutton back in the 80's , last 16 possibly qf can't remember , they fielded 2 over age players , one of them turned out to be 21 ... we got beat and went home with our tails between our legs but the team in the next round complained and Sutton got booted .

6 goals in his first Premier League season. He could easily develop into a 15+ goal/season winger. I'd be disappointed with anything under £35m. Another fantastic value signing by the club.
