I don't know, I compiled a list manually in Mars:

Since then, Brighton sold Biss (and bought Enciso but overall a profit) while Southampton bought a keeper for £12m, meaning they are now "in the red".
Come on Swanny, you can do a revised list. I believe in you...

My friend is a FC Copenhagen fan and follows the Danish league pretty closely. Says Adingra is good and that Nordsjælland has a reputation for developing players.

You haven't got the hang of this "I know a bloke who's a fan of *insert club* of potential transfer target" have you? :wink:

Ties in with many people's thoughts that you are a bit of a space cadet:smile:

I always thought you weren't from this planet but good to have confirmation you are a Martian.

Meh. Some people read, write and maybe make a list, others watch TV. None of it more alien than the other, though knowing that half of your population tuned in to watch EastEnders on no less than six occasions indeed makes me wonder if I'm part of the human species.

Ha ! Nearly half of our team we bought as youngsters then loaned them out.!
Moder, Alzate, Sanchez, Caicedo, MacAllister and then some of , perhaps all, of Undav, Van Hecke, Khadra, Mitoma will be joining them this summer in the first team squad. And its far too early to write off Enciso, Koslowski, Sima, and several others. Some won't work out - or make the standard or not develop how we'd like but so what...?
Thats just how the Albion works these days...

We're like Chelsea only we play them.

For fun here's a first eleven on Chelsea Loanees who never played 20 EPL games for Chelsea before they sold them.

1 Eduardo - 2018/19 to Vitesse Arnhem;
2 Guehi - 2020/21 to Swansea;
3 Tomori - 2017/18 to Hull and Us;
4 Ake - 2015/16 to Reading;
5 Pasalic 2014/15 to Elche(+ every other of the 6 years he was with them before being sold to Atalanta without ever playing a game)
6 De Bruyne - 2011/12 to Genk;
7 B Traore - 2016/17 to Ajax;
8 Bamford - 2012/13 to MK Dons;
9 Lukaku - 2012/13 to WBA;
10 Solanke - 2015/16 to Vitesse Arnhem;
11 Salah - 2014/15 to Fiorentina.

Put Gallagher, Kenedy, Broja and Gilmore on the bench as they haven't been moved on yet. (Along with Livramento who is not technically loaned to Southampton, but might as well be).

Astley, Manchester
Barcelona apparently had a scout watching him for the last game of the season. Seems a good prospect. Think we’ve acted in getting him in before he gets picked up by the bigger teams.

It still staggers me they've let that sort of quality come and go.

I mean, Solanke! The damn fools.

He might be.. Football is a long long history of failed signings whether at the top end or bottom end and Albion have a few of em like Roland (was that 11 years ago now ? ) . But some succeed after loans like Mosies Caicedo, or Ben White, or Robert Sanchez, or Steven Alzate, or go straight into the first team like Jeremy Sarmiento, or ...
Did you say the same when we signed them ?

Yes, he might be. Almost certainly won’t given his position, our record in that sense and the humongous, Neil Armstrong-like step that is the PL i.e. anyone who’s got what it takes typically goes straight from the maternity ward to Carrington, Cobham etc these days!

Yeah, I was struggling for another striker as they actually played Abraham for a season when they were banned from buying any players.

Oh. So just another "buy to loan to sell" then. Can't get excited about them. Which is a shame as his highlight reel looked pretty good I thought.

There’s no point really. Chances are we won’t see them in 1st team. Like you, I’ve learned to place these signings in the same folder as Womens team. I never used to get excited about the Combination league and the Simon Fox’s of this world. Yes they’re part of the club, but I don’t follow our Catering team either.

Now, this lad from Rheims is interesting: 26, in his prime, and playing regular top level football in France. Altogether different dijon!

I think the point they are making is you said you compiled the list in Mars, I believe you meant March?

Edit. The post was in April so I'm not sure now. Was it in Mars?

Ha! Do you actually watch Brighton because Potter plays half a dozen of “these signings” in his team /bench every week…! Where do you think they come from ? Loanees from RUSG, Forest Green Rovers, Leyton orient, Beerschot, Lech Posnan, and the like. Ha ha.
