Signs of life at The Brewery Tap and Marathon Signs up around town

There are builder types in The Brewery Tap when I walked past on my way to a meeting this morning.

The curtains have been drawn back and they have piled a load of rubbish on the pool table.

Signs are up in Preston Road just opposite the Tap that state 'This Road (Preston Road) will be closed between 8am and 10am on 18th April'. The same signs at the bottom of Stamford Avenue and Preston Park Avenue.

So we have an hour to clear the park. I would hope to be in Ovingdean by then.

Thanks for letting us know that this fine pub will reopen. I was in mourning when I read that it had closed. Will hopefully return soon but not this Thursday sadly!
