Actually had to think about this one as in all honesty how the fook can this guy still do what he does and manage to oust a ex Barcelona player Montoya out of the team based on performance is beyond me , yes i would extend his contract for another season but we really need to up our game recruitment wise to make sure we have a adequate replacement to fill this giant of a man's boots .

It may happen to coincide with a decision that was going to be made anyway, and someone makes it look like they "listen" to what the average Joe has to say, but in truth, they don't give a stuff. And in this case, why should they, it's not us who are picking up the tab for his contract.

Absolutely. Based on ability, and remember he is probably fitter than a lot of players half his age.

Also the man is a leader, both on and off the pitch. Given the small margins in the bottom half of the table, then the more leaders the better.
