Sidwell is a big game player, he was a great signing someone who cares for the club and fights for us, why we moan about him, i never get with our fans as you do know your making it harder on the club getting on players backs who dont deserve it.

and yet you had no patience to let a guy with months out of the first team and a handful of sub appearances to work his way back into form and match fitness. Class is permanent.

I was delighted we signed him and was then utterly aghast at how he's played since. Will take more than one shot to convince me he can really do the business for us, it may have Sidwell's name on it but was Knocky's goal.

I think it's a brilliant bit of policy by the club to lend young players out to other clubs for 10-12-14 years to learn their trade, and then come back and score vital goals for us. First Zamora, now Sidwell. Gareth Barry to come in with a couple of vital relegation savers next season?
