There was no question of offside watched at any speed. She has had her fair share of cock ups, no pun intended, when officiating us.

And, seemingly also better at running the line than any of them too.
I think somebody has already pointed this out: what's the name of the linesman who failed to spot Sol Bamba being two yards offside when he scored Cardiff's late winner against us earlier this season? Where are the demands for him to be related to lower league games? Where is his personalised thread?
Virtually nobody around me complained about that disallowed goal at the time. Montoya looked miles off to me because it was one of those where the players were instantaneously moving in opposite directions so suddenly he's in acres of space. It was only when messages started arriving from people watching on TV that those in the ground realised we might have been robbed.

I'd say this article is worth a read (and watch). It just begs the question of why we don't have referees and their assistants with microphones.

Nothing to do with her gender.
She made a really bad decision in the 120th minute of a cup quarter final which could have been fundamentally game changing.
Did anyone really think a thread wouldn’t be started about it?
Genuine question. Has anyone looked on the Swansea site to see if they have thread on the awful decisions made in their game?

This.
This thread stinks. Fact.
I bet they don’t have a thread title that’s the lino’s name. There were worse decisions in our game than this marginal offside.
Aye there were...not sure the assistants can be ignored though don't you think? Its just gone a bit daft with the fors and against...so much so they we seem to have forgotten the ref
Nope, agreed....but I can’t recall a thread previously that singled out a lino. Refs, yes....but not a lino. Clear foul on Murray when they scored, stonewall pen for the foul on Duffy......both worse decisions than the offside.
All of which were missed by ALL of the officials. The Lino is allowed to flag for fouls as well I believe. So Massey not only ballsed up her calls but also failed to notice the Millwall thuggery too.
May. Regarding the linesman in the man utd game. https://nortr3nixy.nimpr.uk/showthread.php?363928-Lino-giving-Man-Utd-the-ball-back-at-the-end
'linesman' features in the title of 28 threads (no idea if these links will work):

'lino' features in 12 titles

'assistant' is a little too generic (assistant manager, here to help assistants, etc), VAR. (80+ threads)
'officials' also seems to have a lot of 'Fifa officials' 'Club Officials' as well, (51 threads).
How many assistant referees can you pick out of a line up? How many can you name? I can name one. Sian Massey-something. (Yes, I know it's in the title of the thread, but I never remember that bit). Yes, this thread was framed wrong, but she is the only recognisable lino in the game at the moment, also as the only female premier league official, she is also going to stand out and be noticed. Because of the Keys/Grey incident she is much more visible, and football fans in general know her, and so remember her performances running the line.
I've always thought she was one of the better linos out there. Especially during the height of the controversy swirling around her, she was constantly getting every decision right, even narrow offside were accurately caught.
I didn't think she was great in her last game with us, and thought yesterday was disappointing by her usual high standards. There was one offside she didn't flag for (long cross-field ball to a player offside right in front of her, and she didn't flag - the player made a move for the ball, but didn't get to it until after Bong(?) had collected it and lost it under pressure from the offside player). I didn't bother getting out of my seat for our disallowed goal because I saw it was offside the moment the ball was played. She got that spot on. We had one shot/cross a defender headed over and neither she nor the ref seemed sure whether it was a corner or not (eventually it was given). She, like the ref, seemed to ignore Rose assaulting Kayal at every corner.
I have always found Chris Kavangh to be one of the better refs we have had but failed in this game as he wasnt assisted by either lino/ ast ref.
They tried it once with an Arsenal match with David Elleray as ref. It was a disaster of swearing and never happened again.
Not just that call, she is so bad that I predicted she was worth a goal disallowed before the game. Past record is appalling. Anyone in East Lower would know.
