If you're not racist why does taking the knee bother people so much? Surely if they do that, or anything else for a particular cause fine, if not also fine?
From my own perspective if they want to do it next match, to the end of the season, for the next 10 years it does not bother me one iota.

Being one of the posters who spend all your time defending the fact that you're not racist on various race fishing threads in the Bear Pit definitely means you're not racist.

It was a video of Manning he posted. So that why I used that example. You’re nailing yourself trying to defend his material. For some reason he’s remembered fondly by white folks as some sort of cheeky northern scamp. If you watch his stuff a lot of it is very nasty stuff.
Could I ask how you know a lot of “them” weren’t offended. Yes, I know there are some people of colour in the audience but then a lot of women protested against giving women the vote. Doesn’t make it right.

Why does all this make you so angry? Why don't you just serenely enjoy your Daily Mail, your outdated humour, your muppet show? You have unfettered, unprecedented access to literally any show or clip or standup you could possibly want to watch. There are tens of thousands of podcasts that cater to your tastes and your politics. There are chat groups, RL groups, communities you can join to revel in your opinions. Your right to express pretty much any view you so wish is enshrined in law.
We have left the EU and a liberalist right wing government rules England. Immigration is being scrutinised and discouraged. The BBC is under attack, balanced media is being cherry picked and disallowed. You have absolutely everything a person like you could possibly wish for.
