Almost a superb own goal by Shrewsbury!
Thanks for the update - but I would hardly call that team our U21 reserves - looks a pretty strong line-up to me.Albion edging it. Wonder save from their keeper just before half time from O’Mahoney. Prior to that almost an own goal in our favour. We are playing exactly the same (or at least trying to) as the first team in style. Quite a few errors as you’d expect, not helped by heavy rain.
Mullins off injured for Flower after 30 mins. The (Shrewsbury radio) commentator provided on the feed must’ve uttered about 50 times “Brighton building from the back”.
Zero atmosphere and a tiny crowd, as you’d expect for a raining Tuesday night in the tinpot cup, against two sets of reserve teams of varying quality.
Nobody standing out so far really.
I meant reserves as in not our first team, sorry if I wasn’t clear. Back in the day they’d be the “reserves” (or the “stiffs” )Thanks for the update - but I would hardly call that team our U21 reserves - looks a pretty strong line-up to me.
9Exeter 0 Reading 8. Looks like Reading have finally found their level
