Up to 2,000 away fans can be accommodated in the largely open Station Road terrace. Best to try and obtain one of the 500 seats that are allocated to away supporters in the covered Main Stand. I found the stewards to be not the most friendly in the world, however Shrewsbury is quite a pleasant town to spend time in and along with the picturesque ground, you should find Gay Meadow to be one of your better away days. Unless of course it is pouring down with rain!
