Its actually one, if not the largest object in the Kuiper belt rather than a planet, as has been discussed.

Latest images shown has the dwarf planet showing a reddish tinge similar to Mars, which is surprising as I thought it might look like an icy ball like Jupiter's moon Europa.

Pluto also could fit into the USA if it was on Earth.

I rather like the fact that its carrying a small amount of the ashes of Clyde Tombaugh, the astronomer who discovered Pluto in the first place.

Took years for it to get there and arrived 70 odd seconds earlier than planned...wouldnt happen in Germany
I can only dream of that kind of accuracy with my train to work, and that only has to come from 10 minutes away.
