Shouldn't we be concerned?

Not really worrying about signings yet,it's still early season but I'm concerned about holding on to assets in letting Murray go for nothing after paying £300,000 for him and letting Hall from the development squad being able to sign for anybody due to not extending his contract...you can bet he will be sold for a big profit from anybody who takes him on...it's in our history I suppose,we let Dean Saunders go cheap, yes I know we needed the money...£60,000 was cheap seeing he was sold on for £1m.

It is not fair to use selling Dean Saunders as a ' beating stick' or guide as his sale was forced upon us by the bank and we had to accept what we were offered, had the situation been reversed we would have done the same in fact didn't we do something similar to Plymouth to get Noone, not so cheap granted but a similar situation we took advantage of their poor financial situation, as any club would.

Sorry, Barry Lloyd and our club made an enormous mistake with Deano... worse, he claimed Richard Tiltman was better than Saunders... laughable...

We could do with signing his Dad though. He's pretty invinsible, but is omnipresent. Now that would be flair.

But he moves in mysterious ways, not sure he'll link up very well.

When does pre season start? I would hope Vicente makes a decision early enough to benefit from a decent pre season this year...

With the news that Vicente is now in talks with another club, this summer is getting worse and worse. Missing out on Mattock, can't afford Kusczak, training ground being put back.

There has just been a drip, drip, drip of bad news followed by more bad news.

Is there serious financial difficulties at the albion now? Hope Gus feels more positive than me, because if there really is something seriously wrong then he won't be here much longer, that's for sure.

We are really as good as Gus is going to get for the foreseeable future. I have no concern about his leaving and particularly given the compensation that would be payable by any suitor. The club is not in a position to pay 'funny' money for players wages so I expect a good few disappointments and some successes over signings. The loss if Vicente would be a disappointment as he has class and is a crowdpleaser. However my recall is that the team acheived at least as good results with him out of the team as in.

Oh FFS, yet ANOTHER player we've missed out on, due to being SLOW and LAZY.

"Italian veteran Gennaro Gattuso has signed for Swiss club FC Sion after 13 seasons with AC Milan."

Sort it out Bloom.
