I’m personally a great fan of the song so conflicted

I don't mind it, but wish our fans were a bit more rational about when to unleash it (or knew the rules). The refs are shite!

It's perfectly harmless and perfectly gormless. A bit like the Tony Bloom Skoda song. And indeed like most football songs reallyThe refs are shite!

Indeed. I've often watched on the box and the fans have been berating the ref for what is clearly a correct call.I don't mind it, but wish our fans were a bit more rational about when to unleash it (or knew the rules).
Its a bit tinpot when our crowd are bellowing that in response to a correctly-awarded decision.
There was an offside late last night - right in the NW corner - where J.Pedro came back from a clearly offside position to challenge the defender as he was clearing it. When the ref blew, there were people all around us going MENTAL. Proper raging - spitting their words, veins bulging, expletive-ridden RAGING.Indeed. To be fair I struggle to see the ball at the other end and have no replays so I’m probably as guilty as anyone else at incorrectly trying to let the referee or linesman know they have made a mistakeIndeed. Yes, last was night we were hit with some poor calls. But most were fair and reasonable. Just not some crucial ones, alas. I think it is the lot of the fan to be unreasonable. There was an offside late last night - right in the NW corner - where J.Pedro came back from a clearly offside position to challenge the defender as he was clearing it. I was on the verge of turning round to point out that, contrary to half a dozen shit decisions - this one was actually right - but I thought better of it. From the (non) penalty onwards people had lost the plot.
I had less self control than you on this one; I felt compelled to turn around to my neighbour behind me, who was spitting feathers at this decision, to explain that this time it was the correct decision. There was an offside late last night - right in the NW corner - where J.Pedro came back from a clearly offside position to challenge the defender as he was clearing it. I think the current batch of songs have no real motivating stance that is aimed at the team, they all seem pointless to me, maybe they should be sung down their locals. It's perfectly harmless and perfectly gormless. A bit like the Tony Bloom Skoda song. And indeed like most football songs really

Let's keep this one and ditch "you're not fit to referee". Makes my skin crawl for some reason. The refs are shite!
