[Albion] Should we sign a "star striker" or keep starting Maupay going forward?

Maupay is a quality player and will only get better , he was a snip at 20 million .

We do need another striker but even though Connolly only scored 3 goals those 3 goals returned 6 points hes definitely worth sticking with .

It's hard to believe anyone could have a criticism of a 23 year old strikers debut Premier League season which netted 10 goals, having cost less than £20m.
Or, if you prefer, 40% of Joelinton.

All done with a swagger and shitbagginess which has galvanized the season.

Still needs must I suppose.

I don’t think anyone’s is criticising Neil just day we also need another decent striker.

Unless, for course, if you happen to start a sentence with:-

"My one criticism of Maupay is that..."

Maupay didn't cost £20m he was somewhere around £17m.

Chris Wood anyone?

Rumoured to be on £50,000 a week at Burnley but recently signed a two year extension until 2023.

Claims to be “happy and settled” in Burnley

A £20 to 25m I think would be enough to spark interest, eclipsing the 15m they paid for the 28 year old

Would he be happier in Sussex?

No thank you. Too expensive , wage too much, happy at Burnley, Burnley above us in the league, partner plays football at Liverpool and just agreed a new deal... so Brighton too far. Not even sure we want a player like him.
