Didn't Ray Wilkins recommend Bridcutt to Gus and told him to get him quickly as he was about to join Torquay, so there was a Chelsea connection.

That could be true. All i know is that Liam was looking for a club as Chelsea wasn't renewing his contract. Contracts normally run from July to July and we signed Bridcutt in August.

1) Return of the Revs desperate attempts to come up with questions to stir any sort of contoversy related to the club hit rock bottom the day he started on the lack of club officials at John Vinnicombs funeral. They are now beyond tiresome. I just wish his family would give him some of the attention he clearly craves, or alternatively he could probably find some "company" in the Friday Ad for a small fee that might alleviate the need to fish for arguments on here.

Stapleton was one of the worst players I've ever seen in an Albion shirt. Flatts was "meh" for my money, Keown was years before Brady and I don't think Akinbiyi was an Arsenal player. Dickov and perhaps Steve Gatting aside, Arsenal have been absolute bastards to us over the years. I've just remembered Graham Barrett- he was absolute plop too. I always found it hard to believe some of the players they've lent us ever signed professional contracts for a Premier League club. Was their youth team manager permanently drunk??

As pointed out he came from Norwich and Steve Gatting we bought outright so no loan involved there and I don't think that was down to Brady as he wasn't at Arsenal ina coaching capacity as at the time that Gatting joined us Liam Brady was still a player at Arsenal before going to Italy

When Seaman was injured, Shaaban played in two matches in the UEFA Champions League at home against PSV Eindhoven[3] and away against AS Roma, as well as in three matches in the Premier League. Unfortunately, Shaaban broke his leg during training on Christmas Eve 2002, ultimately sidelining himself for the rest of the season.[4] Due to the severity of his injury, Shaaban feared he would not be able to play again, but after rigorous physical therapy Shaaban was able to resume playing.[5] When Seaman left Arsenal in the summer of 2003 Arsène Wenger signed Jens Lehmann, who played every match that season as Arsenal went undefeated for the entire 2003–04 league season.
