They would indeed, the whole scenario would depend largely on how the escalation first unfolded. EG. if they staged a surprise attack of some sort on the Falklands, they would lose the moral highground, even the support of the so called 'Reciprocal Assistance' members across the Americas,..... and I know we wouldnt make any pre-empted strike,... so there you are, it will be put to bed by the vote in March, the UN cannot argue against their right to self determination as enshrined in the UN mandates, there is too much fog around the original facts of ownership etc from the 17th, 18th and 19th century, so the woman will bleat on until she is kicked into touch by the electorate, then there may be a softening by the Falklands, who will then talk about economic and logistical co-operation that will benefit both nations.You've ignored the second part of my post. The rest of the world is hardly likely to stand by a watch us splatter the Argies - again. At the very least they'll insist we talk.
