Correct - there was no financial need to sell anyone.
Good to hear, and nice to think that a significant sum of money is available in the summer for players.
Correct - there was no financial need to sell anyone.
Let's get the manager sorted before dismantling the team.

We clearly needed to sell Bridcutt to ensure we finished within FFP
and take umbrage if he loses him.
If the club is going to progress players need to be sold in order to bring in fresh faces.
Good I hope he does. Then use the same pieces and put it back together in a more sensible way!The new manager is going to dismantle the team anyway if automatic promotion is the goal.
considering it seems to be an issue attracting talent to the club i would say off loading anyone who is half decent is utter madness
What, as opposed to telling the new man what a wonderful squad we have including Ulloa, then selling him a week later and risk getting off on the wrong foot from the word go?
We clearly needed to sell Bridcutt to ensure we finished within FFP - otherwise if we were already comfortably under the £8million then why wouldn't we have reinvested part of that fee - say £1.1 million - to bolster the squad? I know we signed Stephens but effectively that was offset by Barnes / El-Abd / wages saved on Vicente.

Not looking, but certainly considering if the right money was offered. £6.5 million has been quoted/made up and that size of offer would be hard to turn down as if reinvested wisely you could bring in four very strong Championship players with that.
Where is it clear?
Bridcutt was looking to leave and basically went on strike to achieve it. I believe you're attempting to rewrite history.
