To quote Billy Connolly from his son A Four Letter Word;

It's not to be said in polite company
When little old ladies are sipping their tea
But if those ladies' pasts were revealed sure as hell
They've not only said it they've done it as well

I almost never see swearing used as an oath.
No blasphemers. That's good.
I frequently see grammatical variations involving
human body parts and functions.
This has been used by the
vernacular since Roman times.
Never before have so many words
been used to descibe
so few small parts.

Yes, as an adult, I swear sometimes. I sorely doubt many people on a football forum aimed at adults will be particularly offended if I say **** once in a while.

Wonder if it's a Boys' Club thing? North Stand Swearing Club? This is a good forum, but the trouble is it's not just used by chappies, but by laydees and youngsters as well. It's possibly the only place very young lads and lasses can come to read and contribute to Albion tales.

If that is the case then why only 6 votes in the second option and if like you say there's laydiess etc then they haven't voted so couldn't give a f***.

I don't swear on any other forum I use, but I'm a foul mouthed hooligan on this site. I wouldn't mind if it was band, it would be handy for kids who are getting to know their club.

They're probably doing the laundry, out at the supermarket, feeding the kids, mowing the lawn or mending hubby's socks. Might even be on their way to Falmer!
