No, of course not!

They'll only go and vote Tory!

Most pensioners know a lot about history of politics....and you learn by history so the same mistakes are not made today....however...if the government where to offer me a dollybird and free vodka for the rest of my life....they can stuff the vote.....C'mon UKIP!

If you ever watch Pointless you will note that the older ones have more knowledge of what is happening in the world than the youngsters. Experience beats all.

Although this thread is 'Pointless' and as I am a 65 year old, I find it difficult not to respond to this thread.

Some seem to think that pensioners (ie those over 65 years or 60 years for women) don't have a brain or indeed any right to any 'pension' despite, as in my case having paid National Insurance contributions for 50 years.

Do some of those currently in employment think that the retired should receive no State Retirement Pension ( SRP ) and accordingly they, in turn, would receive no SRP.

I am sure the thread, like many others started today, was done so 'pointlessly'

D, looking at today's new threads, don't you think that humour (perceived) is clogging up the, useful and worthwhile, NSC forum ?
